The Real Problem

Amazon is not the problem. Losing control is.

Amazon is the biggest shop window in the UK. Brands struggle on it because they do not control who sells their products, at what price, or how they are shown. On Amazon, anyone holding your stock can sell it on your listing, and it usually starts quietly.

01

Stock slips out

A wholesaler, a clearance deal or an overseas distributor passes your product to someone you have never dealt with.

02

A stranger lists it

They add themselves to your product page in minutes. Your listing is now their shop window.

03

The price war begins

More sellers arrive and each one cuts the price to win the sale. Your RRP stops meaning anything.

04

Your brand pays

Margins shrink, your real stockists complain and any poor service lands as a bad review under your name.

Sound familiar? Find out who is selling your brand today.

Why One Authorised Seller

Why brands move to one seller on Amazon

When anyone can sell your products, nobody takes responsibility for your brand. A single authorised partner changes that.

01

Your pricing stays consistent

No race to the bottom. Your RRP is respected on Amazon, which protects your margins and your relationships with other retailers.

02

Someone owns the listing

One partner is accountable for your content, images, reviews and advertising, rather than several sellers who invest in none of it.

03

Genuine stock, every order

Every unit comes directly from you, so customers get genuine product, reviews stay healthy and counterfeits are shut out.

04

Predictable purchase orders

Instead of scattered small orders, you get a reliable wholesale customer who plans stock with you.

05

Full visibility of performance

You see exactly how your brand performs on Amazon, backed by marketplace data you would not normally have access to.

06

More time for your business

Hand over the day to day of Amazon to specialists and focus on product development and your other channels.

How We Fix It

Understand it. Remove them. Take back control.

Most brands try to fix Amazon from the wrong end. We start with the facts, clear the listing, then rebuild it properly.

1Understand it

Finally see what is happening to your brand

Amazon tells brand owners very little. We pull the marketplace data and walk you through it in plain English, so every decision after that is an informed one.

  • Who is selling your products and what they charge
  • Who wins the sale when a customer clicks buy
  • What shoppers type in to find products like yours
  • What your brand could realistically be selling

Clear unauthorised sellers off your listings

This is patient, methodical work that relies on your rights as the brand owner and on the tools Amazon gives registered brands. We do it for you.

  • Find out where each seller is getting your stock
  • Send formal notices on your behalf
  • Report infringements through Amazon Brand Registry
  • Add Transparency codes so unverified units cannot be sold
  • Keep watching, so they do not creep back

One seller. One price. Your rules.

Once the listing is clear, RB Distributions becomes your single authorised seller on Amazon UK. We buy our stock from you and sell it at the price you have agreed.

  • Your price holds, so your stockists stop being undercut
  • You sign off the images, storefront and wording customers see
  • Every unit sold is genuine and came from you

Brand Protection

Stop the fakes. Protect the stockists who play fair.

Unauthorised sellers do more than lower a price on one website. They open the door to counterfeit goods, and they undercut the retailers who buy from you properly.

Transparency codes

Fake goods stopped before they reach a customer

Transparency is Amazon's own programme for proving a product is genuine. We enrol your products and manage it for you, so only the units you made can be sold.

  1. 1Every unit gets its own codeA unique code goes on each product, like a fingerprint that cannot be copied.
  2. 2Amazon checks before it shipsA unit without a valid code is not sent out, whoever is selling it.
  3. 3Customers can check as wellShoppers can scan the code and see for themselves that the product is real.
Code checked. Genuine product.
Your trade customers

The shops that stock you stop being undercut

When strangers cut your price on Amazon, your trade customers pay for it. Shoppers ask them to match a price they cannot afford, and some stop ordering altogether.

  • One price on Amazon, agreed with you
  • No more pressure on stockists to match rogue prices
  • Fewer complaints from the accounts you have built
  • An RRP that means the same thing everywhere

Problems We Fix

Sound familiar?

These are the issues we see on brand listings every week, and how we solve them.

Too many sellers on your listing

Unauthorised resellers undercut each other, erode your RRP and upset your retail stockists.

We identify every seller, issue formal notices and file Brand Registry reports.

Counterfeits and hijackers

Fake or poor quality stock leads to bad reviews, returns and a damaged reputation.

We enrol products in Amazon Transparency so every unit is verified before it ships.

Amazon Retail undercutting you

When Amazon buys and sells your products directly, you lose control of price, stock and presentation.

We work through the right channels to return listings to one controlled seller.

Invisible in search and Rufus

Thin listings with missing attributes do not rank, and Rufus will not recommend what it cannot understand.

We rebuild listings around real shopper questions, keywords and complete product data.

Competitors stealing your traffic

Rival brands bid on your brand name and advertise on your own product pages.

We see their keywords and spend, then defend your brand terms and listings.

Weak images and no A+ content

Shoppers decide in seconds. Basic images and plain text lose the sale to better presented brands.

We produce main images, infographics, A+ Premium and Brand Story content.
Our Software

Data Driven Growth

We see your brand the way Amazon does

Most brands only ever see their own sales figures. Our in house data API shows us the whole market: who else is selling your products, what shoppers search for and what your competitors are doing. That is how we find the sales you are missing, and protect the ones you already have.

Six questions every brand should be able to answer

For each one, here is the data we use and what it means for your brand.

01

Who is selling my products, and at what price?

The data

Every seller on your listings, their share of sales, Buy Box ownership, price history and where each seller is based.

What it means for you

We have the evidence to remove unauthorised sellers and bring your price back to RRP.

02

How big is the opportunity for my brand?

The data

Estimated monthly revenue and units for your brand and competitors, 12 months of history and trends across 40,000+ subcategories.

What it means for you

You know what your brand could realistically sell on Amazon before you commit to anything.

03

What are shoppers searching for, and where do we rank?

The data

Rankings for 1,000+ keywords per product, 18 months of ranking history, search volumes and how often you appear in AI answers.

What it means for you

Your listings are rewritten around the searches that actually lead to sales, and we track them every week.

04

What are my competitors doing?

The data

Competitor advertising keywords and estimated spend, share of voice on key searches and which brands are rising fastest.

What it means for you

We target the gaps they leave and stop them advertising on your brand name.

05

Why are shoppers not buying?

The data

Impressions, clicks, basket adds and purchases for each search, plus review themes, listing scores and missing product details.

What it means for you

We fix the exact step where shoppers drop off, whether that is images, price, content or reviews.

06

Is growth profitable, and are we in stock?

The data

Amazon fees, true margin per unit, stock levels, in stock rate and sales lost to stock outs.

What it means for you

Purchase orders are planned around real demand, so you grow without stock outs or wasted margin.

What you receive every month

Every brand partner gets a clear monthly report built from this data. Here is an example, with what each part tells you.

Our Methods

Built for the AI that now decides what shoppers buy

Amazon no longer just matches keywords. Its AI works out what a shopper really wants and chooses which products to put forward. Our methods are built around how that AI reads a listing.

COSMOWhy shoppers buy

Intent mapping

COSMO is the system Amazon uses to understand the reason behind a search. We score every listing against the 15 kinds of shopper intent in Amazon's own published research, then close the gaps.

  • Who it is for and what it is used for
  • When, where and with what it is used
  • A scorecard showing what is missing
RUFUSWhat shoppers ask

Question mapping

Rufus is Amazon's AI shopping assistant. We collect the questions shoppers ask in your category and make sure your listing answers them.

  • Unanswered questions found and fixed
  • Copy written the way people really ask
  • Image text Rufus can read
ALEXAWhat gets recommended

Assistant readiness

Alexa can only suggest a product it holds clear facts about. We complete the structured product details most sellers leave empty.

  • Every empty product detail identified
  • Correct values prepared for each one
  • Facts kept consistent across the listing

Review mining

We study what customers say across your category to find the objections that stop a sale and the benefits that win one.

The first image decides whether a shopper clicks. We design several main image ideas so they can be tested against each other.

Account Manager

A real person when Amazon goes wrong

Anyone who has raised a case with Amazon knows the reply: a copied and pasted answer that never deals with the problem. Every brand we work with has a dedicated Amazon account manager, in house at RB Distributions, whose job is to tackle issues and see them through.

  • Listings that have been suppressed or taken down
  • Product pages changed without your say
  • Stock that is stuck, lost or stranded at Amazon
  • Account health warnings and policy notices
  • Cases that keep being closed without an answer

Our Commitments

What you can expect as our brand partner

Handing your Amazon channel to one seller is a big decision. Here is what we commit to in return.

A clear written agreement

Territory, pricing, responsibilities and review points set out in plain terms from day one.

We respect your RRP

We will not undercut your own website or your retail stockists. Pricing is agreed with you.

Your brand stays yours

You keep ownership of your trademark and Brand Registry. We work alongside you with the access you choose to give.

Monthly reporting

Sales, sellers, rankings, advertising and stock, shared with you every month in a clear report.

One point of contact

A named contact who knows your brand, answers quickly and speaks your language, not jargon.

Genuine stock only

Every unit we sell is bought directly from you, never sourced from the grey market.

How We Partner

A reseller partner, not another agency invoice

Agencies charge monthly retainers whatever happens. We work differently. We buy your products and sell them on Amazon as your authorised partner, so we only do well when your brand does well.

You get a reliable wholesale customer, clean pricing and a team that treats your brand like its own.

Without a partner

  • Several sellers fighting over the Buy Box
  • Prices dropping below RRP
  • Listings nobody owns or improves
  • No data on who is selling or why sales dropped

With RB Distributions

  • One authorised seller holding the Buy Box
  • Protected pricing that respects your stockists
  • Listings, content and ads actively managed
  • Full marketplace data and monthly reports
Our Process

01

We agree exclusive terms, pricing and an opening purchase order that works for both sides.

03

Protect & Rebuild

Unauthorised sellers are removed, Brand Registry is secured and listings are rebuilt.

04

Grow & Report

We run advertising, reorder stock as sales grow and report to you every month.

Choosing one seller is a big step. These are the questions brands ask before working with us.

Book a Call
Why should we only have one seller on Amazon?

Multiple sellers compete on price, which erodes your RRP, damages relationships with your other retailers and means nobody invests in your listings. One authorised seller keeps pricing stable, protects your brand and takes full responsibility for growing it.

How is this different from hiring an Amazon agency?

An agency charges fees to manage your account. We act as your authorised reseller, buying your stock at wholesale and selling it on Amazon ourselves. There are no retainers, and our success depends on your products selling.

How can people we never supplied be selling our products?

Amazon lets any seller attach an offer to an existing product page. If they can get hold of your stock, through a wholesaler, a clearance sale or an overseas market, they can list it without asking you.

We find Amazon confusing. Will you explain it?

Yes, that is the first thing we do. You will see who is selling, what they charge and how your listings perform, explained without jargon.

What does it cost us?

There are no management fees. We earn our margin by buying your products at trade price and selling them on Amazon. You simply supply stock against our purchase orders.

What happens to the sellers already on our listings?

We map every seller, find out where their stock is coming from and, with your support, remove them using Brand Registry, formal notices and Amazon Transparency. We also help you tighten your distribution so they cannot come back.

Will you undercut our website or retail stockists?

No. Pricing is agreed with you and we respect your RRP. Protecting your wider channels is one of the main reasons brands work with a single authorised seller.

Do we have to give you our Brand Registry?

No. You keep ownership of your trademark and Brand Registry. You can add us as a user with the permissions you choose, so we can manage content and protection on your behalf.

Do we get approval over listings and content?

Yes. We share new images, A+ content and copy with you before it goes live, so your brand is always represented the way you want.

Amazon already sells our products directly. Can you help?

Yes. We help brands move away from Amazon Retail so that pricing, stock and presentation are controlled by one authorised partner.

Amazon buys from us as a vendor. Is that a problem?

It is common, and it often means Amazon sets a price you cannot influence. We help brands move to a single authorised seller so price and stock are under agreed control.

What are Transparency codes and do we need them?

Transparency is an Amazon programme that puts a unique code on every unit you produce. Amazon checks the code before a product is dispatched, so counterfeit or unverified stock cannot be sold on your listing. We handle the enrolment and tell you honestly whether it suits your products.

How do you buy stock from us?

We place regular purchase orders at agreed trade prices, based on sales data and forecasts. Minimum order quantities and payment terms are agreed with each brand.

How long is the agreement, and can we leave?

Terms are agreed with each brand and include regular review points and a clear notice period, so both sides always know where they stand.

Will you sell our full range?

We use marketplace data to decide which products have the strongest opportunity, launch those first, then expand the range as sales grow.

Do you only sell in the UK?

Our focus is Amazon UK. If your brand has the opportunity, we can discuss other marketplaces as part of the partnership.

What data will we see?

Monthly reports covering estimated revenue, units, Buy Box share, sellers, keyword rankings, advertising performance, competitor activity and stock levels.

How quickly will we see results?

Seller clean up and listing improvements usually show an impact within the first few months. Every brand is different, which is why we start with a data backed appraisal.

What happens when something goes wrong on Amazon?

Your in house account manager at RB Distributions picks it up. They investigate the issue, deal with Amazon directly and keep you informed until it is resolved, so you are never left with a generic case reply.

Where does your data come from?

From two places. Our own software pulls reports directly from Amazon through its API, and we also have marketplace data covering brands, sellers, categories and search terms across Amazon UK.

What is Rufus and why does it matter?

Rufus is Amazon's AI shopping assistant. Shoppers ask it questions and it recommends products. Listings with complete product data, strong content and helpful answers are far more likely to be recommended.

What kind of brands do you work with?

Established consumer brands with genuine products and a UK supply chain. If you are unsure whether you are a fit, request a free appraisal and we will tell you honestly.
